Meet the Inspector Behind Bayou Wise
Kevin Arinder | Licensed Home Inspector #20047
Hi, I’m Kevin Arinder, owner and inspector at Bayou Wise Home Inspection.
For more than 30 years, I’ve worked in construction, remodeling, and home improvement. Over the years, I’ve learned that a home is much more than walls, floors, and a roof. It’s where life happens.
I’ve personally remodeled four homes where my wife, Michele, our two children, and I have lived. Remodeling our own homes—and making decisions about what was important for our family—gave me a different perspective on what homeowners really need.
As our family grew, I learned firsthand that the things that matter in a home can change. Safety, functionality, quality workmanship, storage, comfort, and the condition of the home’s major systems aren’t just items on a checklist. They’re things that affect a family’s everyday life.
Those experiences have shaped the way I approach every inspection. I don’t just look at a house as a structure. I look at it as a place where someone is preparing to build their life.
For more than 30 years, I’ve also had the privilege of serving in ministry and working in my community. Serving people has always been an important part of who I am. Whether I’m working with a homeowner, a first-time buyer, a growing family, or a real estate professional, I believe in treating people with honesty, respect, and integrity.
My goal with every inspection is simple: to give you the information you need to make a wise decision.
I’m not there to tell you whether you should or shouldn’t buy a particular home. I’m there to help you understand what you’re buying, identify areas that deserve attention, and explain my findings in a way that makes sense. Because buying a home is a big decision—and you shouldn’t have to make it without knowing what you’re getting.
